OMG!! OMG!! OMG!!!

I can hardly believe it!! Im so super excited and dead scared all at the same time!!

 

Yep that is my art...MY ART!!! still feels so weird to say my art like its something 'art' like...worthy...

 

I am and probably always will be my own worst critic but my wonderful family, friends and the gorgeous girls down at Tomorrow's Memories believed in me enough to push me toward selling some of my work!! Thank you!!! I had a meeting with Jo and Vicki on Tuesday morning about the possibility of them commissioning my work, by the end of yesterday (Wednesday) I had my very own display in their shop...MY very own display I still cant believe it! I ACTUALLY have stuff out there, that I have PUT myself out there, that I now have to know what people will think of it, that it wont just be safe in my home or on my facebook page where I have friends to comment on them....this is the general public now.....gasp! shock horror!...what if no-one likes them?? How embarrassing if I dont sell any....yeah I know I'm one of those really sickeningly postive people huh hmmmm RIGHT!! lol (wow! i think i just won the 'runonsentenceoftheyearaward'!!!! lol) But to my greatest surprise and delight, my paintings had been in the shop not more than an hour and two sold...TWO!!!!! I cant remember the last time I felt so happy, dont get me wrong im still dead scared about the response they may receive but boy did I need that soul warming encouragement!!

I can not thank the girls at Tomorrow's Memories enough...in fact I have so much that Jo send me an email asking me to stop!! lol sorry Jo im just ever so very grateful!!

So heres to putting myself out there not something I do well...but Im hoping will get easier! So I'll sign off leaving you with some words of wisdom from my mother "You'd need learn to paint faster huh" lol shes not a painter can you tell?? lol and with having been told that I suppose I should go and create!!!
